We have an outstanding, long-serving team of dedicated and courteous professionals who continuously strive to meet all of the needs of our present and prospective tenants.

Richard Morantz (B. Comm. (Honours), CPM) — President, CEO
Richard graduated with a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Manitoba in 1981 and received his CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation in 1988.

Richard is a long-standing member of the PPMA (Professional Property Managers Association) of Manitoba and served as president from 1995-1999. He was also a past member of the Winnipeg Mayor’s Tax Assessment Advisory Committee as well as the Landlord and Tenant Advisory Committee for Manitoba Consumer and Corporate Affairs. In addition, he has served on the board of directors of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and is a past president of the Asper Jewish Community Campus.

Ron Penner (CPM, CRP) — Senior Vice-President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer
Ron received his CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation in 1993 and went on to obtain his CRP (Certified Reserve Planner) designation from the Real Estate Institute of Canada in 2002. Ron has been with Globe since 1981.

Ron is the IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) regional vice president of region #14 (Canada), he is also a past president of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC), having served on the national board 2011 – 2016 serving on a number of committees. He has co-chaired the International Forum for the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and has previously presented at the IREM Fall Leadership Conference. Ron has been a member of the Professional Property Managers Association of Manitoba for many years, previously serving as a board member for eight years, four years as president. Ron has also served on the board of the Real Estate Institute of Manitoba as its president and is the current chair of the Institute of Real Estate Management Council #114.

Maria Da Ponte (CPM) — Vice-President, Operations
Maria received her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation in 2011 and  RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation in 2015, and has been with Globe since 2005. Maria has been in the property management field for more than 20 years and has worked in the commercial, leasing, residential and  construction divisions.  Maria is Globe’s representative for the Building Owners and Managers Association of Manitoba, serving as a director on the board of the Professional Property Managers Association, and serves on the Real Estate Institute of Manitoba board as well as a member of the education committee.

Joanne Roer (CGA) — Vice-President, Financial Reporting
Joanne received her CGA (Certified General Accountant) designation in 2002 and has been with Globe since that time. She is responsible for overall control of the accounting department. This includes the implementation of accounting tools and software training.

Jenna Pollins — Assistant Vice-President, Financial Reporting
Jenna has been with Globe since 2008 and has extensive experience in various areas of the accounting department. Her responsibilities include training and providing support to others in the accounting department as well as trouble shooting system errors. Jenna is currently working toward getting her CGA/CPA accounting designation.

Diane Glover (CPM) — Senior Property Manager, Residential
Diane received her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation in 2014 and has been with Globe since 1999. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Institute of Manitoba (REIM) as Vice President, as well as Vice Chair for IREM Council #114.  She is also on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC)  and a member of the Professional Property Managers Association (PPMA). Diane is actively involved in committees with REIM and the PPMA. As Senior Property Manager, Diane is involved in many areas of residential operations including major rehabilitation projects, budgets, maintenance procedures and personnel training.

Marcy Navarrete – Property Manager, Commercial/Condo
Marcy has been with Globe since 2004, and has worked in various fields in the property management industry. As a property manager, Marcy is involved in many areas of residential and commercial operations including budgeting, leasing, maintenance procedures and personnel training. She is involved in committees with REIM and the PPMA.  Marcy is currently working towards getting her CPM designation

Caroline Mehra – Property Manager, Residential
Caroline has been in the customer service industry for the past 20 years. She has first-hard experience in Property Management and Residential Management in cities across Canada. Caroline has been involved in major rehabilitation projects, unit rehabilitations, capital projects, as well as budgets. She is currently working towards getting her CPM and ARM designations.

Jennifer Olinyk – Property Manager, Residential
Jennifer has been in the Property Management Industry since 2006 working in both Canada and New Zealand with an extensive background in both single and multi-family units. She is an active member of the Professional Property Managers Association and has previously chaired the Education Committee. Jennifer has been involved in major rehabilitation projects, unit rehabilitations, capital projects, budgets, as well as personnel training. Jennifer is currently working towards obtaining her CPM designation.
